The Rumor Mill

The Era Before

After a long hiatus, the long-running article series: The Rumor Mill, is back with a vengeance as it takes on one of the most heavily guarded secrets in the Formula-X Series: The Era Before.

As rumors go, it gets no bigger than this as the first whispers of this notorious and mysterious saga were first  heard at the beginning of Season One. And thanks to the rage of Angela Moodley (also known affectionately as ‘The First Lady of Formula-X’), we have learnt quite a bit more.

The little we did know about this ‘Era Before’ was that it had something to do with illegal open wheel racing in ex-formula racecars which was busted up by the local Metro Police. As it turns out, there’s much more to the story than we could have ever imagined.

While trying to get more information on why Angela had showed up to Monday Night Fuel for the 2nd week in a row, the F-XQ team managed to be in the right place at the right time when Angela came busting out of Moodswing’s office only to find a camera in her face.

However, instead of dismissing us, she decided to vent some frustration. “You guys think that man is something special, but let me tell you a little something about your beloved Club President. That man is a criminal. This illustrious empire, it was built on a lie.”

At this point, none other than Moodswing himself would show his face in an attempt to put an end to the impromptu interview. But Angela wasn’t having any of that. “I remember a time when you were the best racer ever to get into an engine. But that time came to an end, or have you forgotten? I will not be embarrassed by a criminal.”

After Angela left, Moodswing would only say one thing: “no comment.”
