Spring Has Broken

Winter is over and it’s time for Spring to do it’s thing. While the wait for ArboUr GAMES pesters on, it looks like the fans of Formula-X have found a way to pass the time outside of attending Fuel on Monday Nights . . . Spring Break!

Starting last week, it looks like the Azanian beach has played host to a slew of parties that seem to last days only to die out and be reignited after Fuel. While Formula-X wouldn’t have much to say about it, it seems that two racers on the roster do: Brenda and Doris Koek.

As the hosts of these parties, it seems that the Koeks have decided to stick to this ideal that they’ve recently created and become the party-goers of Formula-X.

While many have taken to The Formulary to ponder whether this new mindset is their way of rebelling against the clean image they had previously been labelled with, we know that one person is beaming from ear to ear at the free publicity.

Terrance  ‘Moodswing’ Moodley has gone on record and posted on Formula-Feed that “while Formula-X has no official involvement in these parties being thrown by two of our own, we are all very happy to hear that our fans are getting into the spirit of the new season and enjoying themselves. After all, entertainment is what the F-X Series is all about.”

Of course, Moodswing is not one to lose out on an opportunity and announced that for the first time, ArboUr GAMES will close out with a big beach party officially hosted by Formula-X and has already been labelled as the party to end all parties and break the Spring in properly.

It looks like the Good Ol Girl and The Nunnery have  reinvigorated the inaugural pay-per-view to the joy of party-goers everywhere.

The Second Formula-X Grand Prix Aftereffect

Welcome back ladies and gentlemen to Monday Night Fuel. It has been a long Winter but Spring is finally here which means Formula-X has returned and as usual it is kicking Spring off with a bang.

As we start our long 3 week journey towards the third annual ARBOUR GAMES pay-per-view racing event, we are still reeling from the shocking turn of events at The Second Formula-X Grand Prix which saw the crowning of a new Formula-X Queen.

Solo Magubane defended the F-X Crown against newcomer, Devi

While the shock remained with the fandom, the result of the feature-race had an unintended consequence which was in sharp contrast to the beginning of Amandla’s Rebellion.

Formula-X’s newest addition was revealed to be the strikingly beautiful Devi — allegedly descended from Indian Royalty — who has a past in modelling. Upon defeating Solo Magubane for the Formula-X Crown, Devi immediately put her media fame to good use by showcasing herself for the entire country to see.

While Mandla Xulu was credited with bringing provincial fame to the F-X Series, it was Solo that was credited with helping the Series get a foothold in the eyes of the rest of the country. And now it appears that F-X Queen Devi is exploiting that foothold… and it’s good news for the Formula-X Series.

With an established history in front of a camera, Queen Devi is proving to be a commodity in the F-X Series with numerous photoshoots, magazine covers and spreads, radio interviews and talk show interviews that have cemented the Formula-X Series in the eyes of many passive South African fans.

All eyes will be on the Queen when she makes her Fuel debut as we wait and see if her racing skills can live up to the hype.
