The Second Formula-X Grand Prix Aftereffect
Welcome back ladies and gentlemen to Monday Night Fuel. It has been a long Winter but Spring is finally here which means Formula-X has returned and as usual it is kicking Spring off with a bang.
As we start our long 3 week journey towards the third annual ARBOUR GAMES pay-per-view racing event, we are still reeling from the shocking turn of events at The Second Formula-X Grand Prix which saw the crowning of a new Formula-X Queen.
Solo Magubane defended the F-X Crown against newcomer, Devi |
While the shock remained with the fandom, the result of the feature-race had an unintended consequence which was in sharp contrast to the beginning of Amandla’s Rebellion.
Formula-X’s newest addition was revealed to be the strikingly beautiful Devi — allegedly descended from Indian Royalty — who has a past in modelling. Upon defeating Solo Magubane for the Formula-X Crown, Devi immediately put her media fame to good use by showcasing herself for the entire country to see.
While Mandla Xulu was credited with bringing provincial fame to the F-X Series, it was Solo that was credited with helping the Series get a foothold in the eyes of the rest of the country. And now it appears that F-X Queen Devi is exploiting that foothold… and it’s good news for the Formula-X Series.
With an established history in front of a camera, Queen Devi is proving to be a commodity in the F-X Series with numerous photoshoots, magazine covers and spreads, radio interviews and talk show interviews that have cemented the Formula-X Series in the eyes of many passive South African fans.
All eyes will be on the Queen when she makes her Fuel debut as we wait and see if her racing skills can live up to the hype.
